Writing in times of war

I’ve been working on a project that hopes to reach out to writers trapped in Ukraine. It’s complex, but there has been progress. I shared facebook posts from writers on the frontline with students during a class on Joan Didion. I like to think she would have approved. Her line, ‘I am resisting narrative here’, in reference to the Vietnam War feels pertinent.
